Dolcenero, why it is so good?
We don’t use any industrial bases when producing our ice-cream, just a few simple, selected, natural ingredients, such as water, fresh milk and cream, sugar, fiber, eggs, top-quality fruit, IGP-certified Piedmont hazelnuts, and our chocolate.
No bright green for the pistacchio or vivid pink for the strawberry. The shades are exactly the same as the fruit they come from.
The founding members of Dolcenero experienced the world of the Italian high gastronomy abroad getting to know that eating gelato is an experience far beyond the senses. Eating gelato means to enjoy an emotion, a discovery of the Italian experience and love for good and well done products.
Gelato is both lower in fat and calories compared to traditional American ice cream. In the U.S. ice cream is generally made with cream, and is classified by its butterfat content (12% - 25%). Gelato is made from milk or water, which accounts for a lower percentage of butterfat (0%-5%) and therefore calories and fat.
To prepare our gelato we only use high quality products in order to always serve you an ice cream that will meet your expectations.
Our gelato is made fresh every day, using fresh ingredients such as local fruit and milk.
To raise customer awareness on the consumption of natural products, we offer flavours made with carefully selected products such as Bronte Pistachios and Piedmont hezelnuts.
To ensure the freshness, quality and creaminess of our gelato, we produce small quantities at different times of the day to make sure that its average duration does not exceed a few hours.
